The Medieval City
Step inside the ancient walls of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Old Town. Wander cobbled streets, admire medieval architecture, and visit iconic landmarks like the Palace of the Grand Master and Street of the Knights.

The Aquarium
With an Italian inspired Art Deco design in the outside, the Aquarium is designed to look like an underwater cave in the inside. The displays include corals, crabs, lobsters etc.
Elli Beach is the best beach in the city, with small pebbles and clear water. It offers a variety of tastefully decorated beach bars and restaurants, which are also popular among the locals.
Head to the Acropolis of Rhodes on Monte Smith hill to explore ancient ruins, including a stadium, theater, and the temple of Apollo. Visit late in the afternoon to enjoy beautiful sunset views atop the hill overviewing Rhodes city.
From June to September, experience the magical Butterfly Valley, where thousands of butterflies create a breathtaking natural spectacle amidst shaded trails and waterfalls.
Ancient Kamiros
History lovers shouldn’t miss Ancient Kamiros, one of the three Dorian city-states mentioned by Homer. Wander the fascinating site with its well-preserved ruins, revealing the urban layout and daily life of its ancient residents.
Climb to Monolithos Castle for panoramic views of the sea and surrounding hills. The well preserved castle is impressively built on top of a narrow cliff and offers a perfect spot for sunset photography.
Drive through lush green forest to visit the abandoned Italian sanatorium in Eleousa village and then head to Mount Prophet Elias to visit Villa de Vecchi (also known as Villa Mussolini).
St. Nicholas Foundoukli
While on on mount Prophet Elias, pay a visit to the late Byzantine church of St. Nicholas Foundoukli and admire its 15th century frescoes. Walk in the surrounding forest before enjoying the view from the terrace of the nearby restaurant.
Sport/exercise enthusiasts choose this location for various athletic activities in the nature. In the area you can find kite-surfing facilities, as well as guided hiking and mountain biking tours.
Visit Lindos, a picture-perfect village of whitewashed houses. Hike up to the ancient Acropolis of Lindos for awe-inspiring sea views and explore its ancient Acropolis dating back over 2,000 years.
Climb the hill to the small church to enjoy the amazing panorama views of the tropical sand beach below your feet. Then head to Tsambika Beach to cool off at the beach bar or try yourself at the various water sports!
This unique Monastery is devoted to Virgin Mary. It was built in the 15th century by the Knights of Saint John and still carries its original medieval flair. The view from the Cross is breathtaking!
Prasonissi Peninsula
The Prasonissi Peninsula offers a two-sided sandy beach, one with strong winds and one which is mostly calm. This location is a well-known surfer and camper Mecca.
